Is there a way to create a new version of a document when using the Appian Collab / Filesystem Utilities plugin

Is there a way to create a new version of a document when uploading a document from the file system that has the same name as a document already in Appian?

We currently use a very old custom plugin that versions documents, but we want to replace this with either standard Appian function or a shared plugin from the Forum.
