I am trying to save data into a CDT variable of type text (multiple). When I look at the CDT in data management, I can see the variable. We can also pass data into this variable using a custom smart service, but I cannot see (or select) this CDT variable in the input or output tables on the activity node within a process model. It's as though all variables within the CDT that are arrays (multiple) are hidden.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

I meant to say "tabs" not tables on the activity node.

Check the "Nested Multiples" sections in the following links of the documentation

Hi Eduardo. Had a look at these docs but this doesn't help. I may be misunderstanding something. To clarify what my problem is...
This is an existing CDT (we set this CDT up years ago in Appian 5.7) we are now on 6.2. I am not trying to change the CDT in any way.
What I need to do is save/store data within this CDT. No matter what I do I cannot see the nested multiples in the process modeller.
I have attached 2 screenshots in a word document that firstly shows the existing CDT structure and then another screenshot of what I see in the process designer. you will notice that you cannot see any variables defined as "multiple" in the outputs tab.
thanks

Is TempCoverage of type Coverage with the "Allow Multiple" values enabled?

Hi Eduardo. I have tried again numerous times. when TempCoverage is set to "allow Multiple" then I cannot see the required variables, If I change TempCoverage to single (i.e. not allow multiple values), I can select the required variables. The problem is that I have to have TempCovergae set to multiple as there is more than one coverage. so I have multiple coverages with multiple exclusions under each coverage.
It doesn't make sense to me why it would behave this way, so I am most probably going to have to implement a messy work around and create completely new variables outside the CDT.
