We updated to 7.9 at the weekend and now I seem to have mismatched default reports.

1. Open all db_* logs and search for the word "migrated". Make sure all logs show a 100% completed migration except for analytics

2. Only if the migration was successful and the issue is present you can run load.bat as indicated in the link. This is normally not necessary, I'm thinking you skipped one engine by accident causing the lack of sync.

3. Attach your analtytics-config.xml from the previous version so I can confirm it's out of the box. Please specify the version you took it from.

Hi Eduardo, I have checked all engines and all are in line with the current DBID so I do not think I have missed any. Comparing the dev system migration log to production, neither of them have "migrated" but both end the migration out put with: (Default) INFO .migrate "100% Updating version tag to: updateSystemBrandingUuid". So I think migration was successful.
The analytic-config is identical to the previous 7.5 when directly compared with this one in 7.9 so I guess they are both OTB.
I thought I had overwritten the wrong files in accdocs1\\2 but again these are all identical across versions 6.6.1, 7.5 and 7.9 (with the exception of an html file in 6.6.1.
I have opened a support case for this issue and I am currently awaiting an update. I am happy to update this post with the relevant details once it has been resolved. Thanks, James

That's also a good point, what if you re-copy the _admin folder?

I ran a file compare between the build and the _admin folder. Remember our _admin dir is on a file server not the installation disk. Both appear the same. I focused on the accdocs\\2 folder as well and all the files are there and are the same down to date, size and content. However I will continue to check the files against a fresh install.

Looks like the cause of our issue was incorrectly migrated files from _admin. For some reason (explanation lost in time) our default reports were customized at some point resulting in file offsets. The correct files will be restored and normal service should resume without further intervention.
