Export Data:
Hi All,
I am trying to export the data from Report to Excel directly . But last few fields which are CDT fields are not parsing the values on Export even though they are showing data on report. Can any one guide why it is happening & what can be workaround?
Thanks

I am assuming you are using the "Datasubset to Excel Servlet" plugin. Are you calling a query entity to get the data? Does the query entity have all of the columns in queryColumn with visible set as true? If yes, please share your code to take a look.

Hey Rajeshwer, No, I am using regular expression in form of icon present on report to export data. The report is calling process model data. we were saving the data into CDT in Process model. All the fields that we want to show are visible on report. There is no code. I am just clicking in export icon on report.

Would it be possible for you to attach some screenshots showing the behavior?

Hi rishub356, Can you please verify all fields given under "Cdt_fields_to_export" are available under defined "cdt" ? I am assuming that the fields which are not getting exported might have a naming conflict.

Hi rishub356,
Have you defined all the columns in the excel as well?
When you define your rule, you mention the columns against which the data would be shown.

This issue is limited to one report only. For other reports, it is working fine.

@rishub356, When I looked at the screenshots you have attached, I see that the two fields which are not exported are multi valued. Could you please try to see if you can try to get the first instance and give a try if its exporting the values? I tried for multiple as well and it exported without any issues. on which version of Appian you are currently.
Additionally wanted to check if you can verify the same by making changes under the Processes tab directly (by default it will get the All Processes). and validate the behavior.
