Hello!
I'm with a problem using Appian RPA that when I click in one button in any browser (IE, Chrome or Firefox) it opens another tab that I can't switch to.
I can do that using "Does desktop window title match?" but using both "Does browser window title match?" and "Switch tab or browser" it doesn't work and I can't use that tab.
Can someone help me please?

Sometimes browsers can be tricky and they can open a new window without context. If you click the button and the new tab opens right away, you should be able to try to click on anything on the page. If that isn't working, use the 'Get attribute' method on the button to extract the hyperlink. You can then use the 'Open browser' method to open a new tab with that link.
I can't click in anything on the new opened page and also 'Get attribute' doesn't works (it cannot find the element). That alternative of using 'Open browser' with the new URL is not an option because the link is not exclusively for that form tha is open when I follow the steps to open it.I think there is a problem with Appian RPA because when I use the Selenium IDE Plugin, it records the window change (as you can see in the img bellow) and when I record these steps directly from Appian RPA, it don't records the window change.
Can you create a ticket with Appian support? We can look into this futher
I can't do that because I'm not registered as a Customer/Partner of Appian. But we are in that process to become a partner. As soon as we get it done, I'll open that ticket in Support. Thanks for your help Danny!
Have you tried using regex on the tab name using the Switch to method?
Yes. I have tried a lot of regex to find that tab but without success.
I have find out what's going on!I started programming with Selenium and I discovered that when I click on that button and it opens another tab, that new tab has no name (it is really empty!).Since in Appian RPA we can only switch browser tabs by its name, it's not possible to use Appian RPA in that case.My sugestion for Appian is to create new actions that lists browser tabs IDs and make it possible to switch them by IDs.Anyway, thanks for everyone that read and tried to help!
