I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring attention to an issue that many of us have encountered and to encourage everyone to submit an enhancement request to prioritize its resolution.
Issue: Saved User Filters Removed When Adding New User Filters #PreserveUserSavedFilters
Many users, including myself, have experienced a significant inconvenience where saved user filters are removed when a new user filter is added to a record type and interface. This issue disrupts user experience, especially for those who have invested time in customizing their filters to optimize their reports.
Example Use Case:

* Description: In our application, users extensively utilize the feature to save and manage their filter settings on record type-based interfaces. Recently, we encountered an issue where adding a new user filter to the record type resulted in the removal of all previously saved user filters. This affects users who rely on these saved filters for their daily operations and reporting.
* Actors: End users and developers Interactions: Users save custom filter settings; developers add new filters to the record type.
* Goal: To maintain user productivity and SATISFACTION by preserving saved filter settings even when new filters are introduced or are changed.
* Impact: This issue impacts both end users and developers. Users lose their saved filter settings, leading to frustration and decreased efficiency. Developers face additional support requests and potential delays in project timelines to address these concerns.
* Workaround: Currently, there is no effective workaround (other than rollback the changes). Users must manually reconfigure their saved filters after each change, which is time-consuming and error-prone. Impact of using workaround: The manual reconfiguration of filters increases the risk of errors and significantly reduces user productivity.

* Additional Notes: In case there is no easy way to preserve the filters we are open to talk about options like allowing us to save/update the filters.
