  • Does this plugin work on On Premise setup where the installed Appian instance will not have any connectivity to the internet ?

  • Yes, it should work without any connectivity to the internet. There are a few exceptions, however, that shouldn't impact development or core functionality.

Certain types of license keys will require the internet for licensing. This will not affect functionality but it will apply a watermark over documents. Also, if you require local/internal font substitution, you will have to host the font package and provide a link to it: https://docs.apryse.com/documentation/web/faq/self-serve-substitute-fonts/. Missing fonts may cause text rendering issues if fonts or substitutes are not available, but the viewer functionality remains unchanged. It is highly recommended and best practice to ensure fonts are embedded in documents to avoid any issues.
