@shanmugapriyab To the best of my knowledge, I don't think a user can be deleted after the creation. The only way is to deactivate the user account.

To reiterate what I said above, I strongly advise against directly altering the primary database unless explicitly instructed to do so by Appian Support. Please do not make changes to the "usr" table.

or else if the use case is of creating the user with wrong User ID ,there is a plugin which is used to rename the user. This would be considered as the other way.

Hi. Thanks for the responses. As you mentioned I searched the documentation and nowhere there is a mention of how to delete an user. I wanted to confirm if there is any other way by which we can. Thanks.

Hello Shanmugapriyab, Out of the box there is no way to delete deactivated or active users.
Can you let us know your use case.

Our Requirement is as below
when and employee leaves an organization, the user id is deactivated. The user ids which are not active for more than a year have to be removed.

Hi shanmugapriya, we do have the same scenario in our organisation. we are just deactivating the users after employee leaves the organisation and just leaving it. Because in Appian, we cannot delete the user account at all.

@shanmugapriyab The only solution is to deactivate the user in your case as per my knowledge. And prior to deactivating the user, you need to take care of the tasks or processes (that were run under the context of user) associated with the corresponding user object.

@shanmugapriyab I would suggest to refrain from doing so as I don't think it's a good idea. I am making Eduardo and Eliot as participants here as I think they can give you valuable information about the consequences of such action.
