While executing the process at runtime, the document upload to the dynamically created SharePoint folder is failing. I am using the Client Credentials authentication method with Client ID, and the following error is encountered during the document upload operation.[title=SharePoint returned a 404 HTTP error, message=SharePoint returned the following error code: -2147024893, System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException, detail=File Not Found.]

HI , on email smart service “from” dropdown in addition to the options specified in documentation there is also 2 entries that are environment specific (ie they are correctly updated when i deploy to a different environment.) Where is the associated email address of these email  displays stored. I can’t find it in the custom.properties file or in admin console.  Thanks very much

Hi everyone,I am trying to implement a seamless "Audit and Redirect" feature across different Appian sites in the same environment. As a developer, I do not have direct access to all the target sites, so I am storing their URLs dynamically in a database lookup table. My Current Approach:From an interface, the user clicks a link component. This invokes an Integration object that calls a custom POST Web API. The Web API triggers a!startProcess() to write the audit data to a table. Upon process start (onSuccess), the Web API attempts to perform a HTTP 302 redirect by passing the target lookup URL into the Location header. The Issue:The audit data is successfully captured in the database table every time. However, the browser does not redirect the user to the target URL, and the user remains on the same page. Here is a snippet of my Web API onSuccess configuration:onSuccess: a!httpResponse(  statusCode: 302,  headers: {    a!httpHeader(      name: "Location",      value: http!request.headers

I have a integration where I need to pass some data plus documents via API to Appian. Any idea how to do both, I know how to do it as separately but not sure of combined.

ServiceNow -->Appian --->ServiceNowWe have a scenario where From ServiceNow user will request an action and then will redirect to Appian, In appian we have around 20 interfaces developed, based on the action requested they will redirect to one particular interface among the 20 interfaces. After performing evidence collection again after submit and toggle back option they need to redirect back to requested action page in ServiceNow. How to implement this functionality? What are the prerequisites needed and what are the limitations ? Help is much appreciated.

Hi Everyone,I am facing an issue while trying to access an Expression Rule through the MCP Server.I have completed the following steps:Created an Expression Rule. Created a Service Account. Created an MCP Server User Group. Added the Service Account to the MCP Server User Group. Granted View access to the MCP Server User Group for the Expression Rule. Successfully connected to the MCP Server using the MCP Inspector tool. Enabled MCP and Tools from Admin panelHowever, when I try to access the Expression Rule through the MCP Server, I receive the following error:Error: 500 - Internal Server ErrorCould someone please suggest what might be missing or if there are any additional permissions/configurations required to access an Expression Rule through the MCP Server?Any suggestions or input would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello Appian Community,We are implementing a Snowflake integration using the OOTB Snowflake Connected System and are configuring authentication through Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) using OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials Grant. Our current setup is:Created a Snowflake Resource Application in Microsoft Entra ID. Configured an Application ID URI: api://<resource-app-id> Created an exposed permission: session:role-appian Created a separate Client Application for Appian. Granted API permissions and Admin Consent to the Client Application. Configured Appian with: Client ID Client Secret Token Endpoint:https://login.microsoftonline.com//oauth2/v2.0/token Resource Application exposes scope: session:role-appianWhen validating the connected system, Appian returns:Authorization unsuccessful. The token request endpoint returned an invalid response. Please check the configuration and token request endpoint status.Questions: For Appian's Snowflake Connected System with OAuth 2.0 Client Credenti

Hi Everyone,I am trying to create a SharePoint Connected System using Client Credentials-Entra ID authentication. We have created an Azure AD App and given the app read and write access to a specific SharePoint site. While configuring the connected system, can I use the link to the specific SharePoint Site in place of the instance URL?

Hi Team,I’d like to understand whether there is a way to use Claude AI to assist Appian developers during the development process. To clarify, I'm not referring to Appian Composer or end-user AI capabilities. I'm specifically interested in using Claude as a development assistant for tasks such as generating expressions, troubleshooting, reviewing designs, suggesting best practices, and supporting technical documentation. Is this currently possible within the Appian ecosystem, and are there any recommended integration approaches or considerations?Thank you.

Has anyone successfully connected Appian and Confluence? Our goal is to manage activities in Appian, such as approvals or sign-offs, and have the corresponding content in Confluence updated automatically. If you've implemented something like this, I'd appreciate any guidance or recommendations.

Hello Team, I have created a Web API that triggers a process model. To consume this API, I created an integration object in Appian using the Web API URL. When I test the integration, it returns a 200 (OK) status code, but the process model is not getting triggered. After checking the response, I found that the integration is being redirected to the login page, and because the login page loads successfully, the response status is returned as 200. Could you please suggest the correct approach for implementing the integration on top of the Web API? Do I need to configure authentication differently or use another integration method to avoid the login page redirection?

Hi I have a requirement where I need to invoke an asynchronous API that returns a jobId in the response. After a certain wait time, I need to call a second API to check the status of the job by passing the jobId received from the first API. This status API should continue to be invoked at regular intervals until the job completes successfully. All of these steps must be completed before the form is submitted, as activity chaining needs to be maintained. Our current plan is to use a Start Process smart service to initiate the asynchronous operation and capture the process ID. I can then use Query Process Analytics at configurable refresh intervals to monitor the process status until the second API returns a successful response. Once the process completes, I can retrieve the results and display them to the user in a grid. Is there any better approach than this /any drawback in this approach. Anyone had similar requirement? Please sugget.

Hi, Could you tell me if it possible to use Apache POI with a "not" on-premise Appian ? Do I need to install a java SDK or a specific Apache POI plugin ?(if you have a documentation it would be great) Regards

We are using a DocuSign integration configured and tested successfully in the development environment with a DocuSign developer account. However, we are encountering issues during the authorization phase when using the authorization link. The authorization flow redirects correctly to DocuSign, and the login page is displayed, allowing the user to log in successfully. However, after the login, the system does not return the authorization token to the application as expected. By checking the application logs, we can see the following error during the OAuth callback processing. This error appears multiple times; below is one example: 2026-04-21 05:57:39,619 [http-nio-8080-exec-794] ERROR com.appiancorp.connectedsystems.http.oauth.OAuthServlet - Error processing request to Appian OAuth callback URL. com.appiancorp.suiteapi.common.exceptions.AppianException: Failed to decrypt. Only values of type Encrypted Text can be decrypted. (APNX-1-4260-002) It seems that the OAuth callback is reac

Hi, we are using the function a!sapInvoke to integrate with SAP throught RFC. Weeks ago, the integration worked  and we received the results expected. For development requirements, external system add some parameters and change the lenght of some text fields (from 20 to 25). After those changes, we receive errors on specific fields, but the return message gives a value that doesn't match the one sent. So, we check with external system and the problem is on all fields. For example, if we pass the parameter of the below images, external system receive as key1 the value "ABC/AAA/456789001/20ABC". It seems it takes the first 20th char and then take the others from key2. ICould you help us to understand the nature of the problem, please? Thanks in advance. Regards

Hi, i´m facing a refreshvariable problem, this code call a rule caled rule!slc_obtenerPolizas(idSiniestro: ri!siniestro.idSiniestro) local!refrescarPolizas: false, /*REGLA QUE OBTIENE LAS POLIZAS*/ /*Y COBERTURAS*/ local!polizas: a!refreshVariable( value: rule!SLC_obtenerPolizas(idSiniestro: ri!siniestro.idSiniestro), refreshOnVarChange: local!refrescarPolizas ), rule expression is this:  a!localVariables( local!polizas: rule!SLC_GetObtenerPolizasByDeclaracionID(idSolicitud: ri!idSiniestro).data, local!ramos: a!forEach( items: local!polizas, expression: a!update( fv!item, "ramos", rule!SLC_GetObtenerCoberturaByPolizaID(idPoliza: fv!item.idSiniestroPoliza).data ) ), local!ramos ) which call a two api, we cast json into CDT.  a!localVariables( /* 1. Hi, Is there any way to integrate with Microsoft authenticator app from Appian to get the current One-time password code? Thanks, Sudip

We are looking to implement user interaction tracking within our Appian applications. Specifically, we want to capture granular data like field-level interactions and form engagement. The analytics solution must be local (on-premise / self-hosted). Has anyone successfully integrated a local analytics or product usage tool with Appian to achieve this? We have looked into Matomo, but found the implementation overhead too high. Inserting integration calls across every field and interface requires too much manual effort and maintenance. Thank you in advance!

We are trying to send emails with attachments using the MS Graph sendMail API. We're seeing an issue where the document is not being converted to Base64, see screenshot below. Is the issue that we're starting with a json and converting to dictionary? This was done because if we define the dictionary directly, the key "@odata.type" is not recognised properly because of the period. Thanks!

we are looking to use the MS Graph API to create and send emails our issue relates to an odd behaviour we are experiencing when attaching large files. All attachments under 3mb work as expected. Per MS documentation when attaching >3mb we should use the "Attach Large Files" API. Per that process we get a session and then chunk the upload, when we start the upload the API immediate terminates. Has anyone been able to successfully attach a file > 3MB by breaking into smaller chunks and send an email. A similar plugin MS Graph Utilities uploads something larger files by breaking into chunks into One Drive/SharePoint but is there something similar which attaches it to an email?

Hi community,I have a scenario where i need to Send JSON in a paragraph field from Appian interface, Which should call a WEB API, but as we can't call WEB API directly from interface, I'm calling INTERFACE>INTEGRATIONS>WEB API, It's not working and I don't see PM is starting which was configured inside a WEB API using a start process for success response or even failure response. Can someone Suggest me a Better way if we can do this. Thanks in Advance

we are receiving data via web api in Appian. as the volume is very high, we save the events to database to process them later via a second process model which keeps polling the db for pending events.  The issue is that processing should be in ALMOST real time without overwhelming the Appian environment. to do that, we tried to schedule the polling process every 30 seconds. but the minimum time it takes for repeat configuration is 5 minutes which is of no use to us.   how can we configure a process to run every 30 seconds ?

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well. I am currently facing an issue while sending a SOAP request through an Appian Integration. The request body contains a document that must be sent as Base64 inside the XML body. I have been researching possible solutions, and according to the Appian documentation, automatic Base64 conversion only seems to work when using a Data Type (CDT) with automatic XML conversion enabled. However, in my case, the XML structure required by the service contains specific namespaces and a custom structure, so when I tried using a CDT, the generated XML did not match the expected format and the service returned a 500 status code. I also found some plugins that convert documents to Base64, but my requirement is only to convert the document temporarily and send it in the request body. I do not need to store the Base64 value in the database. Another alternative I considered was creating an Appian Web API that returns the Base64 content and then consuming that res
