We are using SFTP smart service to send a file, I am getting following error

Did anyone face this issue, please help!

This seems like a good crumb to follow. What does the application server log say? Are there any permission issues on the remote server preventing the file from being copied there?

Enable debug log for the plugin if it's not already there. It may help debug the issue. Add add this line in <APPIAN_HOME>/ear/suite.ear/resources/appian_log4j.properties

log4j.logger.com.botw.cmpo.plugins.sftp=DEBUG

It can be added anywhere but for better organizing add it under Plugin loggers. No restart needed it may take 120 seconds or more depending on the configuration before it gets pickup.

We got the following error from yesterday "Error establishing SFTP connection. Host, Port, User Error [Auth fail]. " Recently they restarted the services from the server side.

Its already there and there is not much other information available. We got the new error from yesterday "Error establishing SFTP connection. Host, Port, User Error [Auth fail].

Are you able to test this connection? The error says your authentication is failing.

Hello Srivallin,

the first things I see is the following:
try to use some full path "/some/path/Web_Direct_UAT/WD-005002-003349-v1.xml" and or the temp folder "/tmp/Web_Direct_UAT/WD-005002-003349-v1.xml" for testing purposes.
Later you take care of the permissions on the user you are using.

But it is a fact that you need to check the connectivity. are you in the cloud?
