Overview

Contains a collection of Functions and Smart Services under the Identity Management palette:

Smart Services:

Rename Custom Group:
- Allows you to change the name to any group, even if it is a custom group
Create Custom Title:
- Creates a custom title to be displayed in the Title dropdown when creating a user account
Rename Custom Title:
- Allows the renaming of a custom title due to organizational changes or the discarding of a duplicate title
Deactivate Users:
- Deactivate multiple users at the same time
Reactivate Users:
- Reactivate multiple users at the same time
Create User With i18n:
- Allows you to set the locale, the timezone and calendar preferences for the user to be created
  - Please note: DOES NOT Send Temporary Credentials Email
Import Users from CSV Smart Service
- A template is included with this download

Key Features & Functionality

isUsernameAvailableForNewAccount()
- Wrapper to call the isusernameavailable() method in the UserService API.
getDeactivatedUsersBy()
- Allows you to search for deactivated users based on different fields, values for those fields and two operators (1:EQUALS and 2:CONTAINS)
getUsersBy()
- Allows you to search for active users based on different fields, values for those fields and two operators (1:EQUALS and 2:CONTAINS)
userSearch()
- Allows you to do a multi-field search. Syntax is "userSearch(Text[] property, Number[] operator, Text[] value)"

The App market the current download of the plugin is Compatible Version with 23.2 . we are looking for the plugin which is compatible version 23.1 Appian upgrade. Can anyone share the compatible version.

Facing an Issue with basic user, While I was trying to get inactivated user from custom Picker, It is throwing an error like insufficient privileges for basic User Login.

But for Administrator user type it is working fine and I have Updated it to recent version as well.

Using Reactivate Users to procedurally reactivate accounts for rehired contractors - but we also need to reset their passwords, as they're all accounts that previously utilized SSO. Our customer / stakeholders are STRONGLY against forcing users to undergo the multiple clicks necessary to do a "forgot password" on the sign-in page, since to be fair, nothing was "forgot" in our case. The days of having the "change password" smart service via plug-in are sadly long-gone, but we don't even have a way to procedurally kick off an automated password reset for a particular user. Why? Any chance such a thing could be slated for inclusion in this plug-in?

Getting the below error on the interface:

Expression evaluation error [evaluation ID = bfc17:eb23a] in rule 'isvb_form_reactivateuser' at function a!buttonWidget [line 58]: An error occurred while executing a save: Expression evaluation error in rule 'isvb_rule_pickerfilter' at function 'getdeactivatedusersby' [line 9]: The user [ulf.lendingTeamUser1] does not have sufficient privileges to perform the requested action.

lendingTeamUser1 is basic Appian user.

Appian version : 22.2

process model nodes are configured as Run as whoever designed this process model

This issue was resolved in version 3.6.7 of this plugin. Make sure you upgrade to a newer version.

I had this error prior to updating the plug-in version to the latest current version (3.8.0), but after upgrading, the same node (even in the same process instance) worked immediately upon re-trying.

Appian AppMarket

after update to 22.3 all our create user smart services with i 18 are failing with below error in UI as it is chained activity
