It seems a plug-in or a long running report is hitting hard the Analytics engine preventing users from logging in. I suggest you schedule a restart of the application server to kill any long running request.

Hi Eduardo,
We did several time restart of JBOSS, Appian engines and check pointing of appian engines. After waiting some time at login page we are able to log in into the server.
Is there any way by which we can identify which plug-in or report causing this issue.
Note:- Whenever we try to restart jboss we face this problem.
Thanks
Ajinkya

Next time get 5 thread dumps, one every 3 minutes and then look at them to see what threads you see that are still running after those 15 mns. Pay especial attention to those threads with a bigger stack trace, they will tell you more about what was running in the environment.

To get a thread dump
WINDOWS:
cd %JAVA_HOME%\\bin
jstack JAVA_PROCESS_ID > threaddump.txt
LINUX
cd $JAVA_HOME\\bin
jstack JAVA_PROCESS_ID > threaddump.txt
You would do these 3 times within 15 mns piping the output to a different file every time, e.g. threaddump.txt, threaddump1.txt and threaddump3.txt
