New to Appian

How to maintain the code which are designed by Appian designer ?, with All repositories support and deployment also.  Because incase delete code/objects from Appian is not possible to recover so better to keep even xml file, later can import.

Hi, I am very new to Appian and i am going through some of the courses, which i think are very helpful. I am reading and learning about CDT and Record Type. I’m fairly new to designing multi-stage approval flows and would appreciate guidance on the right architecture.What the process needs to do:A requester submits a content request through a form (subject, source links, deadline, priority). The request is stored and assigned to a writer. The writer submits a draft, which goes to a reviewer. The reviewer can approve it or send it back with comments for revision, and this can repeat. After approval, the request moves to final sign-off and is marked complete. Can other developers (Not Appian developers and partners) contribute to the Appian plugins ? If yes, how to submit it for forum prod review ?

We are currently experiencing a delay between process initiation and the visibility of updated record data in the Portal. Is there a recommended approach to refresh or synchronize record data more quickly so that users can see the latest updates immediately after submitting an action or starting a process? Hi Appian Community,I am currently automating an Appian application using FitNesse v25.2 and have encountered an issue with tab navigation.The tabs on the page were developed using the a!tabItem() component. While executing the automation, I am unable to click or switch between tabs through FitNesse. Other UI elements on the page are being identified and interacted with successfully, but the tab controls are not responding to click actions.Environment:Appian Version: 26.6 FitNesse Version: 25.2 Component Used: a!tabItem()Issue Details:Tabs are visible in the UI. Does anyone know how to read the first line of a CSV? I have tried the readcsvlogpaging() function but it only works for files that are in the logs directory, and the readexcelsheetpaging() function does not work for CSV documents. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello everyone!I started the Learning Path recently and I'm having trouble in Step #1 (version: 26 Build an Application: Step-by-Step #1).When I try to create a New Group (W0239ER Support Supervisors), it always says "Name already exists". This note appears on all objects in the W0239ER application.” → “Not in this Application”   Did anyone have the same issue? Hello… new to Appian and I’m working my way through the Developer path. However, it seems that the Appian Designer Community Edition performance is consisently slow for me over the last couple weeks. Is this normal for everyone? And if so is that indicitive of the real-world performance of the Designer IDE. Thanks!

I’ve been working in my workspace using Appian Community Edition and find the knowledge center button difficult to work around. I don’t see a way to remove or move it. Is it possible to remove this button?
