I'm using the MS Word 2007 Doc from Template in that smart service, but when the document is uploaded, it still replaces a few value tags even though the replacement values are already present.

Plugin Ref - Appian Community After we upgraded to v26.6, The plugin component is not rendering in Sites but working fine in Designer screen.The plugin documentation says it is supported till v25.4 only.Expecting resolution on this issue asap. There is one smart service DOCX to HTML by Vuram but that is not working. It was updated 4 years ago. I need some other recommended method to so that. Anyone who did this ?? Need an urgent fix

the Zip Extractor plugin is behaving unexpectedly. On the first run, it works as expected and extracts the files into the folder. However, when I run it again with the same document ID, it fails. Has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions on what might be causing it?

I'm building a small PoC where i need to write to an Excel spreadsheet. i need to save my data in certain cells positions.Everything i'm finding points me to use the Export dataStore to Excel Smart service and to specify those cells positions in the node input using the twocustom cell position / custom cell values.My problem is i don't have a CDT to load from, this is a purely sync records PoC. do I really have to build a CDT structure to get this to work ?

I am using SQL to Excel smart service and when exporting the data in excel, the headers are not coming in BOLD

We are using Rich Text plugin(Vuram) in our application and facing multiple issues some of them are - Copy the data in specific format and paste that in the editor. This does not maintain the formatting but disturbs the copied formatting - Generating some extra metadata within HTML tags causing failure in the document generation - Nested list items is not maintained too What are the options we have available to avoid such issues as the data formatting while copy paste or manual is prime requirement with the proper HTML generated by the plugin.

I am looking for some guidance on generating large PDF documents in Appian.We have an existing site page that displays more than 13,000 records. As part of an export feature, we retrieve the data, generate XML content, generate a word document and then convert it to PDF (using Advanced Document Templating plugin). Currently, the export process retrieves around 3,000 records. Each record contains several large text fields (around 5 - 6 columns) so the overall amount of content is quite large. The word document is generated successfully and is about 768 KB in size and has approximately 5 million characters. The issue occurs during the word to PDF conversion. The conversion starts, but it appears to consume significant resources and causes the environment to become unavailable.  My questions are: 1. Are there any known character limits for Word to PDF conversion plugin?2. Are there any alternative plugins or approaches that are better suited for large documents? I understand

Hi , I am facing an issue in pdf generation. that sometimes  frech and spanish letters getting eliminated from the document generated , letters like à, é. ó. I am using clean fucntion before passing the sentences to do document template.  If I don't use clean the generated document dont even getting saved in the process output even for english templates. Below is smart services I use to get the pdf generated.  This is how it appear in the grid  This is how it looks when printed, Is there any way to fix this.

Requirement: Capture multi-line text from an Appian UI Paragraph Field Populate it into a DOCX template using DOCX From Dynamic Template Convert the generated DOCX to PDF using PDF From DOCX Both smart services are from the Advanced Document Templating plugin Issue: The DOCX file is generated correctly and preserves all line breaks as expected. However, when converting the DOCX to PDF, the line breaks are not rendered in the PDF output. What I’ve tried so far: Replacing char(10) with the XML equivalent

Hi Champs, I am using docx from dynamic template smart service to create dynamic document. It's working with simple table. Now I want to try with if else condition in my template. I'm using the Export Data Store Entity to Excel plugin, but it throws an error during the export process. I have few section which are dynamic in the template based on which it will either show and hide the whole section. As this section would also part of Table of contents. I want to update TOC dynamically. is it feasible with the plug in? Regards, Shyam

I am using the Advanced Rich Text Editor component (Vuram) and have set the maximum size limit to 4000. When testing, I noticed that the component shows 100% usage when I enter around 3700 plain text characters, even without any formatting.  My assumption is that the component stores the content as HTML and the size calculation includes not only the text I enter but also the HTML tags generated by the editor. When I checked the source, the total HTML content length was around 3989 characters, which is very close to the configured limit of 4000.Is my understanding correct, or am I missing something? Has anyone else experienced this behavior or knows how the size limit is calculated?Any insights would be appreciated.Thanks!

I created email template in word and needed to add the logo image so I added it using insert and uploaded the template as document in appian, after I used this template in send email node in process model so while I am opening the mail I am not able to see logo image. some error come as "linked image cannot be shown. File may be moved or deleted. Verify that link points to correct file and location" Can anyone help me in this issue.

I have GridPlus implemented nicely and does the basic editing and saving as it should, what a great plug in!   But... we have a requirement added to create a related record which would link the edited items to a known key value in a related table. Since both the queryRule and gridsubmitchanges->editModel are kind of rigidly defined, I've been thinking of ways to accomplish adding the record to join the edited rows with the other table. Can a related action apply to just the 'edits' / is there a way to pass that?   I explored the possibility of a 'tempKey' in the queryRule's queryRecordType, but can't really insert that known key value there.  If I could just get the data into the record, then the editModel could do the additional writerecords & sync. Is there some simple way to accomplish this without having to get heavy handed by maybe writing to another data store to be re-read in the editModel

Hello guys, So I was trying to add image to the document (both dynamic and static) . I included the required image doc as constant in my XML. I got the id of the document in the generated document. Some discussions explain about bookmarks. I have tried that but still the same. It gets a bracket outside of the doc Id. So Any other possible solutions. Also I want some notes or any references or other new things in this plugin for my seminar. Thanks in Advance. First image is the template. Second one is the xml code. Hi guys, I used ADT Plugin to produce report document using "Docx from dynamic template" , I got the images in the doc but the square bracket from bookmark is explicitly visible when I gave logo image(circular image). Is there any way to remove the square brackets? This is the output image. Thanks in Advance

Hello Everyone, I am using DocX from Dynamic Template to insert a signature in a Word document. I need to insert the same image in two different places. While the first signature is working correctly, the second one is not updating as expected and remains the same.
