Accessing Cloud Maria DB outside of Appian cloud

Apart from being Advanced or Enterprise customers, is there any other option available for a ETL tool (like Tableau) to connect to Appian cloud DB directly to generate complex reports?

    I recommend opening a support case to see what options Appian Cloud allows. You can also hook up your own database which would make it easier to connect to an ETL tool. docs.appian.com/.../Configuring_Relational_Databases.html

    Appian support suggested to use DB export or web apis but no capability to access cloud DB outside of cloud. At this point, we are not looking to have our own database and looking to see if ETL can be connected to existing Appian cloud DB. Thank you for your suggestion.
