Hi,

I am new to Low code Platforms.

Can Appian be used to create web and mobile apps from scratch?.

    You can create webApps and mobileApps but remember that Appian can only be used within an org as it is a BPM tool. 
    So you cannot create something that doesn't fall under BPM usecase.

    Would you please give an example, what doesn't work according to this limitation?

    Doesn't every business app represent or support a kind of process?

    The Appian platform is focused on building process driven applications.All the design concepts like process models, Records etc. are placed around this. Appian is not built to be a low-code web-development platform.

    I discussed that with Malcom Ross VP Product Development in the first episode of my podcast. And I also wrote a blog post around process centric applications in Appian.
