Error while updating user type from Basic user to System Administrator

Hi, While trying to update the user type of a user from Basic User to System Administrator from the Admin Console, I am getting the below error:

HTTP Code: 500 APNX-1-4198-019 An Error Has Occurred Expression evaluation error [evaluation ID = 56b19:29d6a] : An error occurred while executing a save: Expression evaluation error : External Reaction Function with name sys.smartService.internal3.updateuserprofile4, does not exist.

Can you please let me know if there is any known resolution for this? Thanks in advance!
