Question

Limit Concurrent Sessions for SAML/SSO Based Users

Hi,

Is there a way to limit the number of concurrent sessions for users authenticating against SAML IdP, specifically Azure?

We've tried configuring the limit as described in https://docs.appian.com/suite/help/20.4/Appian_Administration_Console.html#account-locking but it seems it's only applicable for Appian-based authentication.

Thanks

Good question, I'd like to know too.

Currently this is not possible. The Limit Number of Concurrent Sessions setting in the Appian Admin Console under Authentication, Appian, Account Locking does not affect users who are authenticated via SAML. There is a pending Product Use Case to address this.
