Maria DB upgrade Issue

I have noticed that with the Maria DB upgrade from MySQL in cloud, it will change the datatype of calculated view fields that come out to be varchar to text.  Anyone else have this issue? It causes issues as the CDT does not match due to the type change and the data store will not publish.  What steps did you take to rectify it?

Typically to rectify CDT issues you should go to the CDT, download the XSD, fix the bad rows, and create a new version of the CDT from the XSD
