Need basic pointers while configuring sql server integration services with appian cloud

Can some one please give initial pointers or checks I need to consider while doing sql server integration services with appian cloud.

For e.g. it will be via VPN tunnel and DBA has to provide NATed IPs or dynamic configuration with f5 on database etc.
