KB-1551 'appian.app' message thrown when trying to run the q script to generate the q output

Symptoms

After running the q script to generate the q output for a particular machine, the following is printed in the console:

'YYYY.MM.DDTHH:MM:SS:mmm appian.app

Cause

There is already a k4.lic file in the q license directory. The directories where q licenses are installed can be found here: Generating the q Output

Action

Remove any existing k4.lic files from the q license directory and rerun the appropriate q script for the machine's operating system.
