Requirement: User wants to search across the PDF documents. Currently we store PDF documents generated via HTML in Appian. User wants to have a search box and search through all these PDF documents and return all the documents having matching text.

Just wanted to know if there are any OOB features that supports this requirement.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, I tried the above approach with record field as document type. But results are not appearing correct. Even though I search exact words from PDF, similarity score is not good. Also, when I search with a word which is not present in PDF, there is not much change in similarity score.

OK. If the results are reproducible and you ruled out any mistake on your side, I suggest to open a support case.
