KB-1254 Latest changes in a process model are not included in an export

Symptoms

After importing a previously exported application containing a process model, the process model is missing some changes from the latest version, or does not reflect the expected current version that was exported.

Cause

The process model was saved, but not published prior to being exported. Only the published version of a process model is exported, even if a newer version is saved.

Action

Prior to exporting the application, ensure all process models required to be exported have been both “Saved” and also “Published” (File > Save and Publish).
