KB-1356 "An error occurred in executing an Activity Class" thrown when using HTTP File Download in Appian 17.1

Symptoms

In Appian 17.1, when using the HTTP File Download node, the following error is thrown: 

Problem:  An error occurred in executing an Activity Class.

Details: 

Recommended Action:  Examine the activity class to correct the error and then resume.

Priority of this problem: High Priority

Cause

This issue has been resolved via AN-81095 in Appian 17.1 Hotfix Package A and Appian 17.2.

Action

Apply the latest hotfix to your Appian installation or upgrade to the latest version of Appian.
