KB-2417 "Status Unavailable" message for parent CDTs during package import of child CDTs

Symptoms

1. When importing a package containing a nested Custom Data Type (CDT), the Import Results screen displays "Status Unavailable" for parent CDTs that are not included in the package.
2. The number of objects showing "Status Unavailable" on the import screen does not match the number of objects updated shown in the import log.

Cause

The "Status Unavailable" message is expected when parent CDTs are modified as a result of importing a nested CDT, even when those parent CDTs are not included in the package. This is to warn developers that the parent CDTs will be modified upon deployment of child CDTs.

Action

No action is required. The "Status Unavailable" message is expected behavior and has no negative impact on the deployment or the application. The parent CDTs are automatically updated when the nested CDT is imported.
