What Does Nullable = True or False means in XSD ?

Generally it's supposed to reflect the accompanying setting in the DB table (but nothing really happens if it doesn't match).  The DB column's setting will cause an error if a row write is attempted when that value is blank - for the XSD, i'm not aware of any difference it makes.

When a field with a null value is encountered, the element is not created. Null and empty strings in Appian have the same representation. We interpret a null/empty string in Appian as existing (non-null), but empty in terms of determining nillable.
