Would like to see Appian add a feature where we could setup an audible validation. For example, we have a data collection application where the user uses a handheld scanner to scan a part number, which returns the item description and unit of measure then they can scan a qty for inventory. It would be great if you could set it up to play a tone if the part number was not found. I have it set up to display a message, but if the user is not looking at the screen after each scan then they won't see the message.
I am looking into the scanner hardware to see if there is a function I can use, but doubtful.

I did look at that as an options, but was unable to get it to automatically play based on a local variable change.
