I would like to ask can we create session based application in Appian ??
Let me explain my use case
I want to create an application similar to a small game where the one user can send a specific link along with unique code
and the person with the link & unique code should join the particular instance (page) of that game.
This application is mainly implemented on Portals.

Having specific users, why do you want to implement it with portals? Maybe that's not the best approach in Appian...
the idea behind implementing it with portal is to avoid creating users in appian env and the requirement is not to allow them to sign in but to access the game it is similar to planning poker which is being used during story estimations
