I am using the a!recordactionfield in a separate interface to add the data. It contains card layout for each of the data we added. Is there anyway to refresh the page while submitting the data using dialog box option.
All process model nodes are chained and when I used the "open in same tab" option it refreshes the data but from the dialog box it does not refresh. I also used the a!refreshvariable in the local variable in interface but it doesnot work.

You should be using the "refreshAfter" parameter of your a!refreshVariable() local variable(s) on-form - the "refreshAfter" parameter can be set to a value of "RECORD_ACTION" to accomplish this.
I tried that also but it didn't work.
Please share some sample code - this use case is specifically what the "RECORD_ACTION" refreshAfter value was originally implemented for.
