Hi Nitin, before we answer your question , I have a question too.
Do you know what Appian is about? Are you aware about low code/no Code?
I am asking these questions because the answer you are looking for will depend on it.
yes, i am starting my carreer as a appian developer.
I know little bit about low code and trying to grab these
I am doing full time Appian projects for more than 12 years now. Appian grew from 150 people to 2000. I decided to bet my career on it and can not be more happy.
I decided to work on Appian in 2019 and had the same question in my mind. Trust me, it has turned out to be more beautiful than I ever expected!
Hi nitina0004, it's the same question for me as well when I thought of coming to Appian.
Firstly we need to believe in what we are doing. Otherwise, We cant give our 100%. So for that, we need to see some facts to get that.
As a React JS developer, when I thought of changing my domain, I considered these points to change my path into Appian or not.
I hope this will help you to choose the right decision.
Thanks

Same boat here, Appian developer since 2009
Appian is here to stay. Too many folks in companies too lasting and too important use it. Bank of America, the largest financial institution in the world; PwC, EY, KPMG, and Deloitte, or the entire Big 4; Nasdaq (which trades Appian); and ever increasing vast swaths of the US Federal Government (FDA, DOL, USMC, USDA, FCC, USAF, DOT, are ones I personally know about) all use Appian.
Those of us who've been at it for a few years can't get the job offers to stop coming. I can't figure out how to get my resume off Indeed or off DICE, so I get emails and calls all the time. I think you've got a better future with Appian than almost any other technology out there.
