Folks,

there is a requirement where a group of users need to be provided Reassignment capabilities to tasks, however, no those users should not be able to accept any task from other groups task assignment.
Reassignment capabilities are provided when a user has Manager access on the Process instance. However, a manager can Accept a task which is not assigned to its group as well. What can be done so that such acceptance of task from other groups be prevented but reassignment is possible?

Nikhil, Manager role process security setting is probably your best bet here. If you want to prevent users from viewing or accepting tasks then Viewer role needs to be set but you will lose the reassignment capability.

You can create a small process that does the actual reassignment. This process is startable only by this special group. I use this approach to enable a supervisor to "grab" all tasks of his subordinates if needed.
