Appian Excel Capabilities

Hi Folks,

I am new to Appian (Had a quite bit of experience with BPM tools). I wanted to know if Appian has the capability to read and parse data from excel files. I am using Appian community edition and  I did my fair share of research and haven't seen any function or utility to read any excel files.

Can anyone please help me.

Plug-ins are just about as good as out-of-box functionality - many/most of them are built by Appian directly.  AFAIK you can deploy plug-ins directly to your community site for testing/use.

You'd probably like to check out the Excel Tools plug-in, and try the enclosed "readExcelSheet" function.

So, Appian doesn't have anything inbuilt
