Appian Portals

We have Appian on-premise and we have a requirement to create a page where external users can access it (users are not Appian Users) and Appian Portals are the best to achieve it. However, being On-premise, the portals are disabled and we are not able to enable the portals. Any suggestions or alternatives to achieve the requirement.

The only alternative that occurs to me would be external embedded interfaces (embedded somewhere on your company’s website for instance and accessible via that URL, not an Appian URL), though i’m unclear how well (if at all) this works with on-prem environments, and also, how well it’s still supported (if at all) after the advent of Appian Portals.

What functionality are you hoping to achieve through external users accessing it?  Is there no alternative approach that would work (such as a custom website with input fields that sends its gathered data into your Appian environment via Web API)?

Portals are not available on self-managed because they use specific AWS services. I suggest to contact Appian one that requirement.
