can we use the Okta Access token in Appian connected system with in the session we logged into Appian using OKTA.

hi Team,

we are going to use OKTA Authentication to login into Appian and BOX, DocuSign and Salesforce Connected System. But we got a Question from my internal Team that can we the OKTA Access Token with in the Session for connected System for Authentication. 

Please help me in understanding can this be done?

    No, you cannot reuse the token the user got at login.

    Hi Stefan,

    if we have same OKTA Authentication for Appian, box , Salesforce and DocuSign. Then also we cant use that OKTA Access Token by storing that Token for Authenticating connected Systems?

    In Appian there is no direct access to any session data, including any token. But when the other services use an oAuth2 flow, Appian can easily set up to use a service user account.
