Creating PDF Documents with Charts

I'm trying to generate a PDF Document based on data collected in an interface, including some charts that Appian generates based on some of that information. However, I can't figure out how to get the charts into the PDF. I tried using the "Generate Chart Image" Plug-in but it completely changed the formatting of the chart and doesn't look nearly as good. Does any one know of a way to get the charts into a PDF document (or other kind of document that could be converted to a pdf) while keeping the same formatting?
