Custom Code execution in Appian

Can we execute VB script in Appian? Is any type of custom code execution possible in Appian? If not what are the workarounds?

No VB script in Appian. But you could write plugins in the Java language.

    Hi Stefan, thanks for the response.

    Is it possible to run the script in any RPA tool and call that via integration in Appian? Is there any use case where it was done?

    Secondly, can we directly write plugins in Appian, or do we create is separately and import in Appian, if yes, then how is it done? Let me know if I can follow any links or documentation.

    Yes, you should be able to run our VB code using RPA. But I think this is a questionable design decision.
