Deployment automation issue (via compare and deploy to other environment)

Dear All,

We have a requirement to setup a new Dev environment (v20.2) .We have more than 50 + application to export from old env into new environment.

Some of the applications (contains 1000+ objects). When we try deploying via compare and deploy option . The system throws with 500 error as below

HTTP Code: 500
APNX-1-4198-000

Error Evaluating UI Expression
Expression evaluation error [evaluation ID = YU5ZGJIV] : [valid:false,syntaxError:false,value:Expression evaluation error: An error occurred while executing a save: Expression evaluation error at function a!dod_api_app_checkResult [line 66]: The specified environment is not available]

Any suggestion/Steps or best practices to import large application which contain more than 1000 objects ? Anybody faced similar issues.Please help

I'd suggest opening a support ticket to have the support team investigate further. One other alternate is to try a manual import / export instead of using Compare + Deploy

Hi ,Even i have faced this challenge , It happens if your app has lot of objects and you try to deploy them into another environment using compare and deploy. As Peter already suggested that , export the whole app and then import into another environment. It worked for me as well and meanwhile you can raise a ticket with Appian Support team.
