Deprecated buttonWidgetSubmit function in new process models

Hi, I am checking whether any deprecated functions are used in our application objects using expression search. When I search for the deprecated function buttonWidgetSubmit, all process models with user input tasks are displayed. However, these process models and interfaces in user input tasks are not actually using this function. I also created a new process model from scratch and applied the same search criteria, which listed the newly created process model as well. Can you help me understand the issue behind this?
