Difference between "Application User" and "Platform User"

I am currently reviewing the Appian pricing structure and plans, and I’m a bit confused about the difference between "Platform User" and "Application User". Could someone please clarify the difference between these two types of users in terms of access and entitlements?

I suggest to discuss any licensing questions with your Appian sales rep.

From a technical perspective, there is no difference.

We tried to contact them but till no response from them .

what I understood is ->
For building application in appian we need the be "Platform User", and for the end users using that application needs to be "Application User".

Please correct me if I am wrong.
