Doubt with SFTP support

I have a question, well I have a requirement which we need to extract files from appian from a directory on a server using the Sftp functions, the problem is that when we want to do that function the destination folder does not support SFTP, Well, is there any solution to send files to a folder if it does not support sftp?

hi gussil, as far as i know , its not possible to get files from a directory until the folder is exposed using sftp tunnel. lets wait for further comments.

    Is this question about FTP vs. SFTP? Or does the server provide any (S)FTP service at all?

    No, more than anything is a doubt, we have this problem, my team and I need to send a file to a folder from a server via SFTP, but the server where we are going to send the file the folder that uses does not support sftp.
