Duplicating an object such that original object is not affected when duplicate object is changed.

When I duplicate certain objects from Application A to Application B (that is, I moved them from A to B, by selecting the "Move to App" option), it doesn't create a separate object but just pastes a reference of original object, as when I try to make changes to my original object my duplicate object also gets changed. Can I get a solution to this problem, such that the duplicate object will not get affected by the changes made to the original object?

Hi [mention:00bc648a25d4476b9c2f5a8f339f44b7:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05]  instead of moving the object from one application to other, Go to the second application when you create objects initially there will be an option called "Duplicate from existing", you can duplicate the original object into your second application

Creating a new Object will do that .I saw your recent post why you want to import the already existing application. Can't you plan development and testing subsequently??. Appian creates a "UUID"  for each object ( UUID is unique to all environments till its life-cycle.) That means when you import  it's just gonna replace old application object . I suggest either you plan your Development and testing sprints properly or you need to duplicate whole application.
