For PDF generation - If you need to show any dynamic content you can use these smart services  DOCX From Dynamic Template ->PDF From DOCX, first generate word then convert to PDF. For a simple pdf generation you can go for PDF Doc from Template
For Excel generation - You can use these smart services [Deprecated] Export CDT To Excel or Export Data Store Entity to Excel

    Hi [mention:643c95215de74916833b021a9fad1695:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05],

I have a excel file, I had been asked to make a inline view for it. To achieve it as per you have said first I need to use "DOCX From Dynamic template" , but in this component it asks for "DOCXtemplate" and "XML datamodel" as required inputs. Can you give insight on what are those?

Have a look in this the thread below, there is a DOCX template sample there, and some explanation about the document generation, if you still have questions let me know.

Just for your information, you not necessary need to create a DOCX to have a dynamic table in your document, for instance, you can direct create the PDF using the Dynamic Document Generator (PDF from XSL-FO Transformation), there are some threads with example for this method as well.

    Cheers,
