Exif Metadata - upload function

Dear All

During the file upload in Appian is there an option to strip the EXIF metadata  ? This is being raised as a user data privacy concern as this metadata contains user sensitive information such as geolocation and other personal details.

I don't think there is a direct way to do it except to create a plugin for the same. You can get the details mentioned in this thread - https://community.appian.com/discussions/f/plug-ins/28093/metadata-of-a-document 

But not sure about stripping them.

This would require a custom plugin.
