Extract Data from a CSV file into a Local Variable

Question

Hi all 
From an Interface, I need to extract Data from a given CSV file (present in APPIAN). The only solution I am seeing is to extract the data into a DB table on the cloud and then query it. 
Does anyone have the same issue? Does anyone know a possible solution?

You can use the functions in the excel tools plugin https://community.appian.com/b/appmarket/posts/excel-tools?CommentSortBy=CreatedDate&CommentSortOrder=Ascending&pifragment-8928=4

Once you have a csv document, use the function read excel file to extract the data
