File Upload issue with file name

Hi All,

While doing upload of file with filename which contains ; or '     the characters ; and ' are replaced with _ automatically . Other windows allowed characters for file name works fine.

Could you please suggest what can be issue or is it a limitation on Appian side or is it a configuration issue or is there a work around to keep the original name

AFAIK this is not configurable.

I guess my first question is: why is this a problem for you? By replacing semi-colons/apostrophes with the underscore character what impact is this having?

Thanks stewart for the response. The business would like to keep the original name which users enter  . If it is limitation they would like to have an analysis which i am trying to provide.
