why does it mean ID NOT FOUND ?

    Hi Sudhirs,

    Are you using the touser() function? 

    ID NOT FOUND means the username you provided is invalid - remember, usernames are case sensitive

    is there any alternative to check, isusername is taken or not ?

    Please use the function isusernametaken() Function - Appian 23.4 to know whether the username is already taken or not
