Is it possible to prepopulate/pass filters into a record list?

Hi,

We've got a scenario where we want to provide hyperlinks for the user to access a site page which contains a record list. Is there a way to have filters prepopulated for a record list when the user clicks on the hyperlink, like maybe through passing values via the URL? Or any way to have filters prepopulated at all? I know users can save filters, is there something similar to preset them?

I've been looking through the forums and documentation but I haven't found anything yet.

    And also there is a option in the record grid or records to make filters static (or prepopulate).
