New to Appian - Project Handover Document

Hi All,

Recently, I started learning Appian as I was assigned to take care of an existing Appian project. Can you please share all the important points and topics that I need to get from the existing team in a knowledge transfer session?

Note: Currently using 21.4 version and planning to migrate to 23.1 version.

There are so many things to ask.. that also depends on how the application has been developed.. but some things that come to my mind:

  • You should request a Best practices document used for the project
  • Architecture document which explains the architecture of the application/s
  • In the call:
    • They should explain you the business meaning of the application/s:
      • Main user groups
      • Security of the application / what could each user do
      • Main records / entities
      • Main actions
      • Main views
      • Main process models
      • Main integrations
