On Record action icon on hovering unable see the description tooltip.

The description tooltip is not visible when hovering on the Record action icon. Although I was aware it was there, now unable to see this tooltip on icon.

Record Action tooltips should show both label and description on hover,
Make sure the action’s Description field in the Record Type setup is filled.
And, If it was working earlier and no environment update then clear your browser cache and ensure you're using Chrome or Edge at 100% zoom.
Additionally, perform a hard refresh, log out and back in, or test in a different environment (Dev/Test/Prod). If the issue persists across browsers and environments let us know.

Yes it should show on hover only. Try doing things mentioned earlier to work as it was working earlier.

When I try it on a current Record Action Field (the current / up-to-date component version in Appian 25.2), the tooltip defaults to the action's Display Name, and if there's a description entered, the format is "Display Name - Description". Note that this might change if the display name is created using an expression instead of something static. Can you share your Related Action configuration with us? e.g.

It might be a cache issue! Is it happening for all users or just your account? Whoever is affected have them open the UI in a different browser or logout & login again in sometime after clearing cache.

This is not a configuration issue. In your record action whatever label and description is configured the same shows up in the record action field with a hyphen (-) in between both. As its not a code issue ruling out the browser issue is suggested! So keep us posted here if it works or not
