Record Link - clicking twice on a row on a read only grid

Hi All,

Currently the user clicks on the record ID link to go to the summary of the record (In a read only grid). Is it possible in Appian for the user to double click on any where in the row for us to be able to launch the summary screen, instead of an icon how its currently set up?

thanks again

double click

There are no Appian components (available to regular developers at least) that can discern or make any special use of double-clicks like this.

any where in the row for us to be able to launch the summary screen

My best suggestion is that you could make a bigger field clickable - but yes in order for it to be a "link to record", the user would need to click on the actual contents of (one or more) cell(s) in the grid, not just any arbitrary place in the grid row.  "Row Selection" works like that if enabled, but it doesn't have the capability to be configured to act as a record link click.
